Beware of Scammers:

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) has issued a disclaimer alerting the public to the activities of scammers and unscrupulous individuals who have cloned or created fake LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook accounts in the name of the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji. These fraudulent accounts aim to deceive unsuspecting members of the public by offering false job opportunities, contracts, and admissions.

The fake accounts set up by impostors are designed to defraud innocent people through false promises and offers. It is crucial for the public to be vigilant and cautious when interacting with accounts claiming to be associated with FUTA or its Vice Chancellor, Professor Adenike Oladiji.

Official Warning from FUTA:

FUTA and its Vice-Chancellor have warned members of the university community and the general public not to engage or conduct any business with these fraudulent social media accounts and handles, as they do not represent the official channels of communication for the university or its leadership.
