FUTA Academic Calendar for 2022/2023 Session

FUTA ACADEMIC CALENDAR FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS: 2022/2023 ACADEMIC SESSION.

  • FUTA’s undergraduate academic calendar for 2022/2023 features key dates for lectures, registration, breaks, and examinations. The first semester spans 15 weeks, while the second semester also lasts 15 weeks, offering students a comprehensive schedule for the academic year.

FUTA First Semester Academic Calendar:

  • Registration portal opens on Sunday, 28th May 2023.
  • Lectures commence on Monday, 5th June 2023, with registration continuing.
  • Late registration starts on Tuesday, 13th June and ends on Monday, 19th June 2023.
  • Id-el-Kabir break falls on Thursday, 29th – Friday, 30th June 2023.
  • Mid-semester break takes place from Thursday, 13th to Saturday, 15th July 2023.
  • Lectures resume on Monday, 17th July 2023.
  • Lectures end on Friday, 18th August 2023.
  • A lecture-free week occurs from Monday, 21st to Friday, 25th August 2023.
  • First-semester examinations run from Monday, 28th August to Friday, 15th September 2023.
  • An inter-semester break follows from Saturday, 16th to Saturday, 23rd September 2023.

FUTA Second Semester Academic Calendar:

  • Registration portal reopens on Monday, 18th September 2023.
  • Students are expected to arrive on Sunday, 24th September 2023.
  • Lectures and registration continue from Monday, 25th September 2023.
  • Id el Mauld break is on Wednesday, 27th September 2023.
  • Independence Day break occurs on Monday, 2nd October 2023.
  • Late registration takes place from Monday, 9th to Friday, 13th October 2023.
  • Mid-semester break is from Thursday, 16th to Saturday, 18th November 2023.
  • Lectures resume on Monday, 20th November 2023.
  • Lectures end on Friday, 1st December 2023.
  • A lecture-free week is scheduled for Monday, 4th to Saturday, 9th December 2023.
  • Examinations commence on Monday, 11th December and conclude on Saturday, 23rd December 2023.

The first semester comprises 15 weeks, including 2 weeks for registration, 1 week lecture-free, and 3 weeks of examinations. The second semester also spans 15 weeks, with 12 weeks of lectures, 1 week lecture-free, and 2 weeks of examinations.
