Aaron Rodgers joins New York team in blockbuster move from Packers LAPRESSE

The New York Jets are on the verge of making a huge splash in the NFL by signing superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers, according to reports.

The deal with Rodgers‘ current team, the Green Bay Packers, is said to be “done,” leaving fans of the 39-year-old waiting in anticipation for the announcement.

After taking time to consider his future, which included a four-day retreat in darkness, the four-time MVP appears to have decided on a move to New York.

Former ESPN presenter Trey Wingo broke the news on Twitter, stating that “history is about to repeat itself between New York and Green Bay” and that “time is indeed a flat circle.”

Rodgers has been weighing up his options since the end of last season, considering whether to stay with the Packers, retire, or seek a new challenge elsewhere. The Jets hierarchy reportedly flew to Rodgers’ home state of California to hold talks with the quarterback, which appears to have resulted in a successful outcome.
